Hi there!
Mangroves are the second best CO2 sequesters in the world, yet those local communities who preserve them, and thus our global climate, remain largely invisible.

- JULY 23 is UNESCO World Mangrove Day, the same day I'm going to launch our crowdfunding and media campaign (Kickstarter and Experiment) to support black women fishing communities in Northern Ecuador and Madagascar, as well as to foster our comparative research on local community-based resource management within crucial mangrove habitats, highly relevant for mitigating climate change!
